Areté Associates

Areté Associates has been chosen to be our first spotlighted SB! Areté is an ISO-certified SB with offices in Arlington, VA (National Capitol, Zone 2), Niceville, FL (Gulf Coast, Zone 4), Tucson, AZ and Los Angeles, CA (Southwest region, Zone 6). All Areté facilities are cleared for GENSER material, and Areté has SCFs in several locations.

Areté Associates focuses on providing robust and comprehensive solutions to a wide array of problems faced by the defense and intelligence communities. Since its inception in 1976, Areté Associates has grown to a staff of more than 175, half with advanced technical degrees. Areté's emphasis has been non-acoustic ocean remote sensing, and has developed real-world products and ideas that have earned Areté Associates a reputation as a leader in the field. Areté integrates physics-based phenomenology, robust algorithms, sound design, disciplined engineering, and open-ocean field test to deliver advanced solutions to the Navy's most stressing problems.
