Since our incorporation in 1929, ARINC has been a leader in aviation communications. But our achievements go far beyond that. Today, we're a $636 million, ISO 9001-certified company that's recognized as the leading provider of transportation communications and systems engineering solutions for five major industries: defense, aviation, airports, transportation, and government.
Headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland, we're global in reach. Our 3,000 dedicated employees located in more than 82 offices around the world provide over 200 value-added solutions and services to customers in 80 countries.
ARINC, a SEAPORTe prime awardee in zones 2 (National Capital), 4 (Gulf Coast), and 6 (Southwest), offers extensive experience in successfully managing large, omnibus, technically complex Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Contracts and other military contracts similar in scope and content to SEAPORTe.
ARINC has provided quality professional engineering and technical services to the Department of Defense (DoD) since the 1950’s and have supported various NAVSEA programs for over 30 years. ARINC was a mainstay providing Lightweight Torpedo weapon system development for NOSC and continues to support NAVSEA, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), and Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in the southwest (Zone 6) today. ARINC has also supported NAVSEA and PERA since the 1970s. In addition, during this past decade, our support to NAVSEA has expanded to include Naval Surface Warfare Center-Dahlgren Division (NSWC-DD) (Zone 2) and Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) (Zone 4). ARINC is currently the prime contractor for an omnibus NSWC PC contract entitled: the Mine Warfare (MIW) Engineering. ARINC is also the prime contractor on the recently won $45.9M contract for assessment support on the Defense Program Office for Mission Assurance (DPO-MA) (formerly known as the Joint Program Office for Special Technology Countermeasures [JPO-STC]).
The spectrum of tasking
to support SEAPORTe encompasses virtually all of the System Life-Cycle
Engineering (SLCE) disciplines, from cradle to grave, which support
NAVSEA system acquisition processes and programs. ARINC pioneered the
SLCE discipline in the 1960’s under contract to the Air Force,
and held a trademark on the SLCE technique for many years. ARINC remains
todays premier company in SLCE disciplines, and recommends approaches
to our NSWC and NUWC customers that promote efficiency and minimize
Total Ownership Cost.
ARINC has used this
tried-and-true SLCE process to develop a proven set of engineering
policies and practices that have resulted in the successful support
of NAVSEA customers across all 12 SEAPORTe product area directorates
encompassing 20 of 21 SEAPORTe functional areas. The following table
provides an overview of our specific experience within the past 3 years.
