Syncrotech was established in 1976 to provide expertise to the U.S. Navy during its transition from manual to automated narrative message processing systems for forces afloat. That core competency resulted in a series of life cycle software support contracts for the Department of Defense (DoD), which continues today. Syncrotech personnel perform design, management, implementation, configuration management, and test of naval command and control systems for Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN), San Diego.

Syncrotech expanded its business base under a General Services Administration (GSA) contract to provide facilities management services for GSA client agencies in San Diego County. These services incorporate the entire range of managerial and operational functions for data/teleprocessing sites. Services provided include planning, organizing, directing, and controlling data/teleprocessing facilities, computer systems, local and wide area networks; providing software support, production control, electronic input, media library, and associated administrative support functions including physical and hardware/software security management and recommending and implementing methodologies to affect more efficient facilities utilization.
